23.1.2020 our Law Firm had the pleasure to lead the panel during the 11th edition of the 11th HR Directors Summit organized for over 150 participants by Wolters Kluwer. In the panel led by the managing partner of our law firm, adv. dr Artur Rycak, among the participants were: prof. habilitated dr. Tadeusz Oleksyn, Sandra Ludwiszewska - HR Business Lead from Mondelez Int., Lilianna Kurzydlowska - Human Resources Director of Central and Eastern Europe and Russia in Jones Lang LaSalle and attorney-at-law dr Magdalena Rycak - Partner at Rycak Law Firm. The subject of the panel was the issue of non-discriminatory remuneration.

Panel participants replied to the following questions:

- how to build remuneration systems that comply with the prohibition on discrimination in employment?

- is it allowed to differentiate remuneration based upon the criterion of the region in which the employee is employed?

- does the employment of employees in different years justify the differences in the amount of remuneration in the event of a change in market realities?

- should Polish branches of international corporations have independence in conducting remuneration policy?

- is it fair to expect employers to keep information about the amount of remuneration confidential?
